I recently visited the S. Gessner location in Houston to apply for my Texas Driver license. I am a British citizen who has recently relocated to the United States. As such I was a little apprehensive that I had all of the correct documents and had completed all of the prerequisites to successfully apply for my license. As it turned out I need not have worried as your website is very informative in ensuring that I was well prepared. In addition to this I want to provide feedback on the customer representative who processed my application. Amber was exceptional. She was very professional yet extremely polite and courteous. She even went so far as to provide advice to help me with my integration to driving safely in Texas. As far as I am concerned Amber is a credit to the Texas Department of Public Safety and I would like to thank her for making what some would consider to be a stressful experience enjoyable and productive. I would also like to congratulate the Texas DPS for providing such a wonderful driver license application and testing process. The Impact program and information contained within the online training course was exceptional! I have held a driver license since I first passed my driving test in the United Kingdom way back in 1988 and have driven in many other European countries and regions including the Middle East where I held licenses in both Bahrain and the UAE. I felt that the information provided within the Texas DPS program will help greatly to reduce incidents and accidents on our roads and help to reduce the number of families and friends who experience the tragic loss of a loved one by the unsafe driving of other road users. This in itself makes the Texas DPS program essential and I thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience this and for improving my driving skills. I now look forward to taking my driving test and following this, to enjoy many years of safe driving on the roads of this great country.
