After I failed to get the correct documents for proof of residency, Idalia still managed to get my application through by using my bank statement and proof of insurance. It was after five o'clock, without her assistance (and the rest of the crew there) it would have been a sickeningly frustrating experience--especially since I dropped the ball in the first place. Thanks for your help and patience and time! As far as the rest of the DPS employees at South Austin Driver License Office, I want to thank everyone for letting us know you weren't going to give everyone the boot at closing time.
