Mitzi Morris & Sulphur Springs DLO

December 2, 2020

I took my very old parent to renew his identification card to the Sulphur Springs office. This is the fifth time in the last three years that I had a chance to visit this office. I must compliment the staff who work at this office. They work hard and are very efficient. Considering that the Greenville office closed a while ago, they get a lot more people coming there than before. My hometown of Commerce always has more than its fair share of new licenses because we are a college town. They are busy all the time and yet somehow have enough time to be graceful and look easy-going. I have not seen them relax for one minute, yet a smile and an efficient answer is always there. As a business professor who has taught classes about how to keep efficient, I must say I am very impressed. Today I noticed that people were standing because there were not enough seats. The manager came out and went to each customer to make sure they had all the material needed to fulfill their requirement. She was helping out to ensure that no extra time is needed. Then the ladies behind the counters did not even take a small break for over two hours. Working non-stop, always efficient and always with a smile on their face, they made everyone feel welcome. When my dad's turn came, Mitzi assisted him for his renewal. She was very kind to him. She answered his questions repeatedly and always with a smile. We were done very quickly, but I know my dad will feel happy for the rest of the week for the way in which he was treated. If every one of us is efficient and kind to people as all of your employees here are, the world would be a much better place.
