Due to a family emergency in Ohio, we were traveling in a motorhome and towing a trailer to haul our car. We had a flat tire on the trailer about 10 miles east of Shamrock, TX. Trooper Heard stopped to see if we were OK. After explaining our situation, Trooper Heard shared phone numbers of road service businesses in Shamrock. My husband was already in the process of changing the tire and after that process was complete we backtracked to Shamrock to one of the businesses Trooper Heard has shared with us. We met one of their service people at their shop, purchased and had installed a new tire rather than run on the spare. We were back on the road within two hours from when we had the flat. It’s hard to find enough words to explain how grateful we are for Trooper Heard’s concern and assistance. We learned that he was actually on his way home after his shift when he stopped to inquire about our well-being. We wanted you to know how fortunate you are to have such a treasured employee.
