On May 22, 2020, I was heading home from our family lake house. I had moved 100 wheelbarrows full of sandy loam to spread across our property this day. Officer Lyons stopped me for exceeding the speed limit when I was going through Coldspring, Texas. I really appreciate the polite way he reminded me of my speed. He asked about my day and even offered me water for my trip home. I wasn't sleepy, but I was tired, and I appreciate his care and concern. Thanks to all DPS members for attempting to keep us safe.
