I approached the door of the Galveston DL office not realizing that I needed an appointment. Dana welcomed me at the door with her mask on and following the COVID-19 guidelines. I tried not to express it to her but I was overly frustrated because I didn’t like driving around with an expired DL. However, she assisted me with getting the next available appointment which was weeks away. I arrived for my appointment and saw Dana once again. Her tone was pleasant and her demeanor was welcoming. I could tell behind that mask she was wearing a smile. Dana made me feel like it was a pleasure to assist me and I was in no way a burden to her in any way. I truly understand how important it is to be cautious of our distance with others due to the state of the world.
