I would like to pass along my compliments and gratitude to Trooper Tyler Lewis. He happened to be in the area and stopped to offer waiting with me until road side assistance arrived to change my flat tire. Unfortunately, after waiting some time, it became apparent that the road side assistance wasn’t coming. While Trooper Lewis most likely didn’t have time to stop and lend a hand, he was kind enough to take the necessary safety precautions and changed my tire. I am so appreciative and wanted to make certain that this act of kindness didn’t go unrecognized. He is a fine example of what makes a great Texas Trooper and I am forever grateful.
