I brought my mom into the DPS in Lubbock, Texas to convert her driver license into an ID card. She is elderly and handicapped and can no longer drive. Before coming in, I tried very hard to make sure that I had all of the needed documents. It turns out I did not have two appropriate "proof of residence" documents. Instead of sending us away, Brittany and her supervisor were very patient with us while I ran back and forth to my parent's car trying to locate the right documents. I was very grateful that we didn't have to leave and come back on another day.
