    AUSTIN – The reward for Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive James Mark Bishop, who is this month’s featured fugitive, has been increased to $8,500 for information leading to his arrest if tips are received during the month of March. Bishop, 49, is wanted for continuous sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child and knowingly downloading child pornography. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

    AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added David Daniel Boone to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list. Boone, 47, is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault of a family/household member and a parole violation. Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to his arrest. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

    AUSTIN – Three of Texas’ Most Wanted Fugitives are back in custody following their arrests last week. They include Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Joshua David Whitworth, who was February’s Featured Fugitive, as well as Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders Michael Deray Johnson and Vernie Lee Hunt. Whitworth, of Magnolia, was arrested Feb. 16 in Arkansas. Johnson, of Paris, was arrested Feb. 18 in Sherman. Hunt, of Alice, was arrested Feb. 18 in Alice. Crime Stoppers rewards will be paid in the arrests of Whitworth and Johnson.

    AUSTIN – Two of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives are back in custody after their arrests last week. Ruben Alvarado Castro, of San Antonio, was arrested Feb. 15 in San Antonio, and Theodore Villarreal, of Kenedy, was arrested Feb. 17 in Kenedy. Both fugitives are members of the Texas Mexican Mafia. Crime Stoppers rewards will be paid in both arrests.

Michael Deray Johnson, of Paris, and Christopher James Brett Clover, of Wichita Falls, are being sought.     AUSTIN – Two of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders are back in custody after their arrests last week. Phillip Mark Ward, of Fort Worth, was arrested Feb. 8 in Fort Worth. Joe Louis Hernandez, of Galveston, turned himself in to the Galveston Police Department on Feb. 10. No Crime Stoppers rewards will be paid.

    AUSTIN – The Texas Public Safety Commission (PSC), along with Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Deputy Director Freeman Martin, presented two William P. Clements Excellence Awards, 10 Lifesaving Awards and a Unit Citation to department personnel at the PSC meeting on Thursday, Feb. 10, at DPS Headquarters in Austin. Two Director’s Awards were also presented to members of partner agencies at the meeting.

Joe Louis Hernandez, of Galveston, and Gregory Jon Pecina Jr., of Grand Prairie, are being sought. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for Hernandez’s arrest, and up to $3,000 for Pecina. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

    WEST TEXAS REGION – In January 2022, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigations Division (CID) conducted multiple Adult Prostitution Operations and Online Solicitation of Minor Operations throughout the West Texas Region. The goal of the operations was to target individuals seeking to exploit and victimize trafficking victims, as well as to identify and apprehend individuals suspected to be involved in human trafficking by using various websites to solicit sexual acts from minors.

    AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is reminding applicants for a commercial driver license (CDL) or certain endorsements that the Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements begin Feb. 7, 2022. Recent inclement weather has closed some driver license offices; however, the federal requirement has not been delayed as a result of these closures.

Whitworth, 36, is wanted for a parole violation, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, theft and delivery of methamphetamine and cocaine. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
