Porche CURTIS, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on January 4, 2023, in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender’s Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, coordinated efforts with members of the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force to locate and arrest CURTIS.In 2014, CURTIS was convicted of Prohibited Substance/Item in a Correctional Facility and sentenced to 3-years of probation.CURTIS had been wanted since March 10, 2022, after the Hearne Police Department issued warrants for her arrest for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child or Children, Indecency with a Child, and Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled Individual. Additionally, on November 9, 2022, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child.CURTIS’ arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so a reward was paid.
