CAPTURE DETAILS:
Ralph BALLARD, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on July 8, 2021, in College Station, Texas. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents and Brazos County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested BALLARD following a traffic stop in College Station. In 2014, BALLARD was sentenced to 5 years’ confinement in a TDCJ prison for Sexual Assault of a Child after an incident involving a 14-year-old girl in Robertson County. In addition, BALLARD was also convicted of multiple counts of Theft in 2014. He was released on parole in March 2019. BALLARD had been wanted since March 2020 after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for his arrest. Several months later, the Parker County Sheriff’s Office issued a Failure to Register as a Sex Offender warrant on May 5, 2020. Additionally, the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office issued two warrants, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Theft of Property, for BALLARD’s arrest on May 5, 2021. Most recently, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office issued a Larceny warrant for BALLARD’s arrest on June 6, 2021. The arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
