Dante Lamar BENJAMIN, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on September 16, 2024, after turning himself in at the Longview Police Department.In 2011, BENJAMIN was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child in Louisiana following an incident with a 14-year-old girl. He was subsequently sentenced to 3 years’ probation. BENJAMIN’s probation was later revoked and he subsequently was sentenced to 5 years confinement.BENJAMIN had been wanted since April 2024, after a warrant was issued out of Gregg County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.BENJAMIN’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
