Antioneo Ryen SIMS, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on August 27, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Working off tip information received, DPS Special Agents and Troopers located and arrested SIMS.In 2008, SIMS was convicted of Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident with a 14-year-old girl. He was subsequently sentenced to 3 years confinement in TDCJ prison. SIMS also has multiple convictions in the past for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.SIMS had been wanted since January 2024, after a warrant was issued out of Harris County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.SIMS’ arrest was the result of tip information received through Crime Stoppers, so a reward was paid.
