Yurisan GARCIA-VELAZQUEZ is a criminal illegal immigrant from Cuba with ties to Harris County, including the city of Houston, Texas. In 2011, he was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Florida for Alien Inadmissibility. In 2016, GARCIA-VELAZQUEZ was arrested for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance by the Houston Police Department. He was later sentenced to serve two years confinement with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). GARCIA-VELAZQUEZ was discharged from TDCJ in July 2020. On September 7, 2024, the Houston Police Department arrested GARCIA-VELAZQUEZ for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon and he was subsequently released. On September 10, 2024, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon.
