Gilberto CASTRO ZUBIATE is a criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico with ties to El Paso County, including the city of El Paso, Texas. In October 2022, he was arrested and charged with Illegal Entry in New Mexico. CASTRO ZUBIATE was subsequently removed from the United States. In February 2023, he was arrested in El Paso County for Smuggling of Persons for Pecuniary Benefit and subsequently bonded out of jail. On September 22, 2023, a warrant was issued out of El Paso County for CASTRO ZUBIATE’s arrest for two counts of Attempt to Commit Smuggling of Persons for Pecuniary Benefit.
