Eric Israel RENTERIA HERNANDEZ, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on January 8, 2025, in Corsicana, TX. Following up on investigative information, members of the US Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, Mansfield Police Department, and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, located and arrested RENTERIA HERNANDEZ. Corsicana Police Department assisted in this multi-agency fugitive investigation. In October 2023, RENTERIA HERNANDEZ was arrested for three counts of Collision Involving Serious Bodily Injury and Collision Involving Death, following a fatal crash in Ellis County, Texas. RENTERIA HERNANDEZ had been wanted since July 2024, after multiple warrants were issued out of Ellis County for his arrest for Manslaughter and three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Motor Vehicle. RENTERIA HERNANDEZ’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
