Stacy James HEADRICK, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on January 2, 2024, in Odessa, Texas. HEADRICK was taken into custody by the Ector County Sheriff’s Office following a routine traffic stop.In 1989, HEADRICK was convicted of Sexual Assault following an incident with a 15-year-old girl and subsequently received a sentence of eight years’ confinement. In 2006, he was convicted of Burglary of a Building and Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. HEADRICK was sentenced to one year and three years’ confinement to be served concurrently. He has been convicted multiple times in the past of Driving While Intoxicated, receiving a six year sentence of confinement and a 12-year sentence of confinement, to be served concurrently.HEADRICK had been wanted since April 2023, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole issued a Parole Violation warrant for HEADRICK’s arrest. In May 2023, a warrant was issued out of Ector County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements with Previous Conviction.HEADRICK’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
