Chad Everett KING, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on November 29, 2023, in St. Louis, Missouri. Working off tip information received, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in El Paso, including Texas DPS CID Special Agents, coordinated with members of the U.S. Marshals Metropolitan Fugitive Task Force in St. Louis, to locate and arrest KING. The El Paso Police Department Crimes Against Persons Division and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the multi-agency fugitive investigation.In November 2018, KING was convicted of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and subsequently received two 3-year sentences of confinement in TDCJ prison to be served concurrently. He was discharged from TDCJ custody in March 2021.KING had been wanted since December 2022, when warrants were issued out of El Paso County for his arrest for Aggravated Kidnapping with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Kidnapping – Sexual Abuse, and six counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault.KING’s arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so a reward was paid.
