Thomas Correa NARANJO, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Texas Syndicate gang, was arrested on August 10, 2022, in Houston, Texas. Working off investigative information, Houston Police Department SWAT arrested NARANJO at a location in north central Houston.In 1998, NARANJO was convicted of Attempted Capital Murder and Aggravated Robbery. He was given two 8-year sentences to be served concurrently. In 2008, he was convicted of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine. He was given a 10-year sentence and two 20-year sentences. He was released on parole in October 2019. In May 2021, NARANJO was arrested for Assault of Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction and subsequently bonded out.NARANJO had been wanted since May 2021, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation. Additionally, in July 2021, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Assault of a Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction.NARANJO’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
